DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be organzing the 2nd international workshop of the network on Welfare & Policy in Latin America and the Caribbean (WAPLAC)\, which will take place at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito on 18-19 December 2025.The workshop aims to take stock of recent research on fiscal and welfare policies\, inequality\, wellbeing\, labor market dynamics\, mobility\, support for democracy\, and other social outcomes in LAC. \n\n\n\nKeynote speaker: Adriana Camacho (CAF- Banco de Desarollo de América Latina y el Caribe) \n\n\n\nWe are happy to be sharing  a downloadable version of the conference programWe are also glad to be sharing a  downloadable document containing relevant workshop information related to the conference location and logistics.
