Cinthya G. Caamal-Olvera

Cinthya G. Caamal-Olvera obtained her MSc and PhD in Economics at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. She studied her bachelor degree in Economics at the Facultad de Economía at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where she is currently a full-time professor; she is also the international coordinator and holds administrative positions as the director of the Center for Economics Research and editor of the Ensayos Journal of Economics at the UANL. From 2014-2018 she was the local coordinator of an international initiative Understanding Children´s Work (UCW) with a research agenda to study child labor in Mexico financed by the ILO, UNICEF and the World bank.  Her publications are in labor economics, education, development, and poverty in Mexican and international indexed journals.
