
Olivier is Professor of Economics at the University of Bordeaux and member of the Institut Universitaire de France. He is also a Research Fellow at IZA and LISER. His research covers topics in development, public and labor economics. He has been associate editor of the Journal of Economic Inequality and coeditor of the book series Research in Labor Economics. Former member of the Council of Economic Advisors to the French Prime Minister, he is now director of the research department 'Behavior, Organizations and Policy Evaluation' at Bordeaux University. He has acted as expert on labor markets, tax and social protection systems ( and their impact on inequality, poverty and labor market behavior), intra-household inequality and well-being measurement for various administrations and international organizations including the World Bank, the European Commission and the OECD.

H. Xavier Jara is Assistant Professorial Research Fellow at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics. He is an applied economist working in the fields of public and development economics and specialized in the study of poverty and inequality, the redistributive effect of tax-benefit policies, labour supply and well-being measurement. He holds a PhD in Economics and a Master of Advanced Studies in Economics from the University of Leuven. Prior to joining the III, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Essex.

David Rivera Gonzalez is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Bordeaux. He holds a Master in Development Economics from P.S.L. University - Paris Dauphine. His research focuses on labor markets, tax-benefit policies, as well as their link to inequality, and social unrest. He is part of the WAPLAC founding members and also serves as webmaster for WAPLAC and secondary webmaster for wapsociety. He also spends his extra hours as a dedicated rock climber and cinema buff.
