David Rodríguez Guerrero is a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom, he has a Master in Economics from the University of Southampton, and is an Economist from Universidad Externado de Colombia. He has more than 12 years of experience as a researcher and consultant focusing on labour economics, distributive incidence of taxes and benefits, and microfounded macroeconomic models. He is currently a research economist at Observatorio Fiscal, Universidad Javeriana, where he is the leader of the COLMOD: the tax-benefit microsimulation model for Colombia project.
