Héctor Paredes
Héctor Paredes is a PhD candidate at the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and holds a MSc. in Economics at the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). His research lies at the intersection between political economy, economic development and economic history. More precisely, through an applied microeconomics approach to study the long-term economic drivers of political inequality in Latin America. Prior to joining PSE, he worked as a Research fellow at the Institute of Political Economy & Governance (IPEG) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona (Spain) and as Assistant Researcher at the Group for the Analysis of Development (GRADE) in Lima (Peru).
