Matías Ciaschi

CEDLAS

Matías Ciaschi is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor, and Social Studies (CEDLAS) and a professor at the National University of La Plata (Argentina). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the National University of La Plata (UNLP, Argentina).
His research focuses on applied microeconomics, particularly intergenerational mobility, labor economics, poverty and inequality, and economic development. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Economic Growth, World Bank Economic Review, Review of Income and Wealth, and Review of the Economics of the Household, among others.
He has also worked as a consultant for various international organizations, including the World Bank, IDB, UNU-WIDER, OECD, and CAF. Matías is also a lecturer in microeconomics and international economics at UNLP.
