Nicolás Larrea Avila

Nicolás is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Namur. He holds two master’s degrees, one in Latin America and Europe in the Global World from Stockholm, Salamanca and Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle Universities, and the other in Quantitative Economics from P.S.L. University – Paris Dauphine. His research focuses on labour markets in the developing world, particularly, on the analysis of poverty transitions, informality, and income mobility.He has worked on the relationship between education and income distribution using microeconometric techniques such as unconditional quantiles and the recentered influence function (RIF).
