Rafael Novella

Rafael Novella is an applied economist interested in public policy and labour and development economics. His main research and professional interests are at the intersection of labour and development economics and public policy, particularly in the design and evaluation of policy interventions related to skills formation and labour intermediation services. He is affiliated with the University College London (UCL) and the University of Oxford (Young Lives & SKOPE). Rafael holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Essex. Rafael has more than 15 years of experience working in international organizations, at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank, consultancy firms, academia, and public sector institutions.
