Independent Researcher, National Scientific and Technical Research Council, CONICET. Researcher at the Instituto Interdisciplinario de Economía Política (IIEP-BAIRES). Between 2019 and 2022 she was Regional Specialist on Labour Economics for Latin American and the Caribbean, International Labour Organization (ILO).
Her areas of interest are labour economics, income distribution, poverty and social policies in Latin America. She has published articles (in journals such as Journal of Development and Change, International Review of Applied Economics, Journal of Income Distribution, Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Economic Inequality, International Social Security Review, International Labour Review) and books about labour informality, labour institutions, international migration, income mobility, inequality and poverty, and labour and social programs. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics, a Master degree in Economics and a PhD. in Economics.
