Valentina is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and currently serves as Gender Coordinator at the World Inequality Lab (WIL). In the fall of 2025, she was a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics’ International Inequality Institute (III).

Her research lies at the intersection of inequality, intergenerational mobility, and political economy, with a current focus on perceptions of intergenerational mobility in Latin America. Through her work with WIL, she has contributed to reporting the Female Labor Income Share (FLIS).

Before joining PSE, she worked at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on climate-change–related projects.
